3 Mom Hacks You Can't Live Without

No matter how small, anything that can help another mom out is worth sharing. As you may or may not know, I have a 4 1/2-year-old and a 1-year-old. Life can be a little crazy at times so I am always looking for solutions to simplify areas of my life.

THREE MOM HACKS

These three real-life mom hacks are ones you can’t live without and will make you wonder, “why didn’t I think of that?”
Foaming Hand Soap
So this may not be as much of a hack as it is a tip but either way, every mom should know this is a solution to a huge problem. Sick of cleaning your kid’s bathroom sink because it has nothing but spilled soap all over? Well, this will solve all that. No more drips of soap all over the counter, sink or even the floor. Foaming soap makes it into your child’s hands and stays there. Not sure why I didn’t think about this years ago, but now that I have this, I won’t ever go back.
Breakfast Helpers
So there is nothing worse in the morning than one child asking for their breakfast, another one crying for a bottle all while you just want to make your cup of coffee.
So there are a couple solutions to this problem; get up earlier so you can drink your coffee in peace or find a way to get help. I tend to need my sleep right now so I choose the latter.
My son, being 4 can be more self-sufficient and I as his mom need to help him do so. Simply reuse coffee creamer bottles for their milk and cereal.
They will be able to help themselves in the morning which frees up time for you to make a bottle and grab your cup of coffee or whatever else it is you need to be doing. Most importantly it gives your toddler confidence.
They do make drink and cereal dispensers you can buy if you are so inclined, but if you don’t have the funds right now, these work just fine too.

Survival Kit
Ever get somewhere and didn’t have what you needed? If you answered no, then you either aren’t a mom or are lying.
All moms need to create a “survival kit” once they have kids. You can use a small container like this one so it fits in your purse or diaper bag or you could have two kits, one that is larger with more supplies that simply stays in your car and a small one for your purse.
Personally, for me, it makes sense to have two. The one in the car may change from season to season. For example, I may keep extra swimsuits, towels, and sunscreen during the summer but in the winter I may keep a blanket, extra gloves, hats, boots and snow pants. Then in my small kit, I keep the items that are good all the time; band-aids, wipes, deodorant, fingernail clippers, tweezers, chapstick, buttercream, change/dollar bills, tide stick, lotion, tampons, etc.
Share Your Mom Hacks
I know this is only a few of thousand mom hacks that are out there. However, these are ones that just stand out to me and seem beneficial to upcoming and current stages in my life. I’d love to hear from you. Share the mom hacks you use.
