5 Awesome Baby Products

Need vs. Want

Let’s be clear, there isn’t much you actually need to welcome your new baby home. The basics like Diapers, sleepers, onesies, swaddle blankets, wipes, etc. are what you really need. Wants are the diaper warmers, fancy hospital outfits, bottle makers, and so on. Today I want to share with you some products in-between. You don’t necessarily need them, but they are practical and affordable. They are ones I have, love and recommend as well.

Ingenuity Trio 3-in-1 SmartClean High Chair

The Ingenuity High Chair has been so amazing! It is able to be used in 3 different ways plus is a dream to clean. My favorite feature is the snap off tray cover. It makes it simple to remove (while a child is still sitting in the chair) in order to dump excess food or clean up messes. It then can be snapped back into place. There is no cloth at all, so no need to worry about spills or staining. Find it here.

Biralee Baby Bandana Bibs

These practical, yet stylish bibs have been amazing for my daughter. I didn’t know such a thing existed when my son was small or I would have had them then too. I use them mostly for drooling and small drink spillage (my daughter is a messy milk drinker). I still use a silicone bib for eating in her high chair. They seem to be out of stock right now on Amazon, but there are many other brands to choose from as well. From what I hear, they are all very similar in size and quality. Just be sure to read the reviews before you buy. I absolutely love how cute these bibs are, no more worries about snapping a photo with these bibs. Find the Biralee bibs here.

Muslin Swaddle Blankets

If you have followed my blog at all, you have heard me talk about these blankets before. I prefer the aden + anais brand, but the Target brand is also very nice and pretty comparable in quality but a little cheaper. I use these blankets as burp clothes, covers for nursing, of course, swaddling, a light blanket for the car seat or stroller or to snuggle my little girl. I’ve used these for both of my children and can’t praise them enough. They are the one gift I always get a new or expecting mom. Find them here.

Bumbleride Stroller

My first stroller and the love of my life (just kidding, but close) was the Single Bumbleride Indie Stroller. We used that stroller so much for my son. We took it on all of our vacations, I ran with it and used it for daily use. Once my daughter was born, I thought I needed a double option, so I traded it in for a couple used double options. Now I am back to a Bumbleride. It is the Bumbleride Flyer stroller, not currently available anymore but I still love it all the same. If I had to choose, I for sure would still choose the original Bumbleride Indie, find here.

Graco Elite Swing

I did not have this swing for my first baby, but he was a very chill and self-soothing baby. He didn’t need a ton of constant movement. My daughter is the complete opposite so I was so glad that I had this swing for her. I actually used it until well after a year old. She absolutely loved it. I loved that the bouncer portion could be removed and then portable. This allowed me to cook in the kitchen and take showers with her being able to be in the room with me. Find it here.

Get the Basics

As you can see, these items aren’t over the top, yet they aren’t needs either. The stroller is a bit pricey, but well worth it if you are an active outdoor person. The other products are very affordable and not excessive. Us moms need a little help from time to time too. I absolutely loved each and every one of these products and I hope you do too.
