Image result for coffee and fruitLet me be the first to say that I am NOT an amazing cook. I have a lot of staples that I do really well and I am learning more along the way. I love learning new recipes my family love and it is a bonus if they are healthy ones.In our household, we aren’t an all or nothing type of family. We don’t restrict foods from our lives and we don’t use the word diet. We live by an 80/20 rule. Eat healthy 80% of the time and enjoy a few extras 20% of the time. For me and my kids it is more 90/10 and for my husband, it is more 70/30, so we balance one another out. While we believe in putting healthy food in our bodies to fuel our daily activities, we also believe in enjoying life and truly believe in fitness and getting moving each day in order to enjoy some of those extra foods.
