My Latest Travel Opportunity: Cabo

Have you ever wished traveling was part of your “job” in life? Do you have a list of destinations in your head you’ve always wanted to make it to, but never had made the time? What if I told you that I have traveled 4 times in the last two years & that wouldn’t have been possible without my current “Job!” The good news, this “Job” is available for your to! Read more about my latest trip to Cabo below…

How the trip came about…

Originally, the company I work for had a leadership trip scheduled in January for the top leaders in the company. Because of COVID, this trip was canceled. So those same top leaders thought to themselves, “we should still go somewhere together!” That is where I got the invite. My teammate, who I didn’t even know over 2 years ago until I started this business, invited me to go with her! When she asked me, let me tell you all the emotions I felt… I felt humbled & an overwhelming sense of gratitude! So, of course, I said yes!

The Trip…

We left on a Thursday morning early and came back late on the following Monday. It was just enough time to get away, feel rejuvenated, but not be away from my family for too long.

We stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel in Los Cabos – let me tell you, it was absolutely beautiful and it is a very new hotel, so everything was pristine! The staff was so nice, helpful & very on top of all the cleaning. I felt safe the entire stay!

The Activities…

You guys! When I say my friend Ali and I were lazy on this trip, I truly mean it. Ha Ha. We both had been to Mexico multiple times and really wanted to just relax this time, with no major plans or agendas. Plus, with COVID, we just felt it was safer this go-around.

So, some days we walked the beach or got in a workout in the morning. Other days we were lazy and ordered room service. Each day consisted of heading to the pool and either sitting in the pool chairs or lily-pad type platforms they had in the middle of the pool. Either way, we simply sat poolside each day, visiting with one another, laughing, sharing ideas, and simply enjoying the community of women who were there.

At night we made dinner reservations with one another, and enjoyed the food that was included in our all-inclusive resort! We had a variety of choices; Mexican, Asian, Italian, Brazilian & of course the best desserts. I ate far too much at each meal with no regrets!

Releasing Sea Turtles…

The only exception to not doing any major activities was our unplanned opportunity to release sea turtles. The last morning we were there, while we were packing our bags, another one of our friends messaged us to say there was an opportunity to release sea turtles in 45 minutes! So we rushed to pack our bags and walked a 1/2 mile down the beach, or maybe even further to get to do this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. I mean I’m talking bucket list! It was so incredible. See the pictures below.

The Community…

So what makes my company different than all the other ones out there? Hands down, it is the COMMUNITY! It is unlike no other company I have ever been apart of. Yes, of course, our products are AMAZING, but they sell themselves. It is the Community you gain that you will be blown away by! Safety & Arrival Back Home…

I know many of you will ask about the precautions I took while traveling since we are in the middle of a pandemic. I was very safe, and constantly sanitizing, washing my hands, and wearing a mask while necessary. In addition to that, I quarantined when I arrived home, then additionally got tested on the 5th day home to be sure. I did not resume regular life until I got my test results back as being negative. Happy to have had this opportunity but I very much understand the responsibility that comes along with it. I appreciate all of you for your concern & reaching out on social media during my trip as well.
