Follow my blog with Bloglovin I STARTED A BLOG! -

So if you have followed me on social media, you may have noticed over the last week that I have started a blog…well it is true!

I am so excited that this day has finally come. My own blog and website are finally launched. I am eager to share with you all that Mom Wife Fitness Life is intended for. I hope you have enjoyed my first couple of posts, subscribe to future posts and share with others. This post is just intended to welcome you to my page and introduce myself and Mom Wife Fitness Life.

First of all, let me back up and say hello and welcome! I am so excited that you have landed on my page today. This blog & website, as you can read in the ABOUT section, is about the daily lives of Moms, Wives and Fitness Enthusiasts. I am extremely passionate about all three things. I even throw in FOOD as a topic, because I don’t believe you can have Fitness in your life and not talk about the food you are putting into your body. Please take a moment, after reading this post of course, and tour my website. Then continue to visit weekly, if not daily as I will be adding a lot more content in the coming months. I will even be adding a store with some of my very own products you will want to see!

I was born and raised in the small town of Lake Ann, MI. As an adult, I have lived in Traverse City, MI, which is only about 25 min from my hometown. Traverse City is one of the top Tourist (Vacation) towns in the country, so we have some very busy summers around here. Traverse City is a beautiful place to live and raise my children. I feel very blessed to do so.

My husband and I first met in 2004 at my place of employment. He was our computer guy. We then were re-introduced in late 2008, again at my place of employment where he had begun working too. I think we knew we were perfect for one another pretty soon after we started dating, but he had two children from his previous marriage, so we decided it was important for them to be ready. Therefore, waited and were married in September of 2012. It didn’t take long for us to have our son, he was born in June of 2013, then our daughter years later in November of 2016.

I have my Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing & Advertising and my Masters Degree in Strategic Management. When I had my first child Harley, who is now 4, I was able to work from home writing blog articles. It allowed me to stay home with him for the first 15 months, such a wonderful opportunity. Before having my daughter, who is now 10 months old, I had a successful Marketing Career and a job that I loved and planned on returning to.

Once it came time to go back to work and put my son back in daycare and my newborn daughter in daycare for the first time, I just couldn’t do it. For my family and I, it wasn’t the right fit (No judgment for full-time working moms, I’ve been there). It just so happened that my husband got an unexpected, but well-deserved raise at the same time. This afforded us to have me stay home for the time being but knew our savings wouldn’t last long and I needed to somehow make an income as well. I began blogging and writing articles for other companies, which worked out well for our schedules, but it just wasn’t enough.

After thinking long and hard about it, I knew I wanted to start my own business. One day, while the kids were napping, I thought of starting my own blog and began doing some research. Then, some weeks later, it just came to me to call it MOM WIFE FITNESS LIFE. I am passionate about all three things so why not?!

I hope you being here means that you are passionate too about being a mom, wife or fitness enthusiast or maybe all three apply to you!? After reviewing my site, please choose to follow me on my social media channels, share with your friends, and sign up for my email news and updates.
