Never Miss A Monday

Monday Vibes

So let’s be honest, Mondays are not always amazing. Most of us are exhausted from trying to fit too much into the weekend and then, of course, we try to get everything done on the first day of the week so we feel accomplished. I’m not sure why we do this to ourselves, but we do. I set a new goal for myself and that is to not stress myself out because Monday is just another day.

Never Miss A Monday

One way to set yourself up for success on Mondays is to prep over the weekend and of course to NEVER MISS A MONDAY workout. Getting in your workout, especially first thing in the morning, is the best way to jumpstart your week. Now, you may be thinking, “I don’t have time to do a full workout on Monday mornings!” I completely understand this struggle as my daughter still wakes up many nights or I simply stay up too late to try and fit it all in. However, there is always time for a workout, even if it is short. Think about the below workout option for Mondays if you are short on time so you get your workout in.

The Bedroom Workout

I call this workout the bedroom workout because you can do it anywhere and literally in your bedroom if you need. It will only take 10-15 minutes out of your morning and you can do it multiple times throughout the day when you have the time or simply repeat 2-3 times in the same timeframe if you have more time.

Monday Workout Benefits

Getting your Monday workout in is so important for so many reasons. First of all, it sets the tone for the entire week. The better you feel on Monday, the better you will feel the rest of the week. By missing your Monday, you could send yourself in a downward spiral.
Second, it rejuvenates you after a busy weekend. Something we could all use this because there is never enough time over the weekend to get done what we want to.
Third, as you know working out releases endorphins which can increase your mood. This is something we could all use on a Monday. Share those positive vibes with others. The better we feel, the better food choices we will make which is so important to a well rounded healthy lifestyle.

Finally, working out, in general, has many health benefits including increasing metabolism, weight loss and reducing other health factors like high blood pressure, cholesterol and so on.
So, did you get your workout in today?
